Swallows

I obviously know how much swallows (and other birds I guess) were quite fashionable, but I didn’t really realise how much stuff I owned with the same sort of shape on it until I put up my old mobile. Excellent!

A very old mobile that I’ve had since I was a baby. Its a little tatty now, but I still love it.

Of course, I’ve seen this shape in other places more recently. One image I’m sure many Twitter users have seen recently is the whale supported by the birdys.

Are they swallows or another bird? I want them to be blue canaries, but thats cause I love that song so much

This is from the entrance to Greyfriars, an office building in Bristol. Theres this whole poem thing, with the general history of the building at the entrance, but I doubt many people have seen it if they’ve never been in the building.

I’m going to try and stop buying so many bird related things now I’ve actually realised what I have!
