(I can’t help it, I always have to say That London when I talk about our capital!)
My visit to London on Friday was so much fun with the UK Lady Bloggers – none of us took many pictures sadly, so this is pretty much all of my pics!
We visited the Hummingbird Bakery in South Kensington – the cakes were delicious, and unlike anything I had ever had before, but eating that cake on the left took me the whole of the journey from London Paddington to Bristol Temple Meads to eat (along with a pint of tea from Starbucks, yum!)
I had some time to kill in the afternoon before my train, so I headed to Regent Street to see the Apple Store. It was pretty awesome, but looked the same as the Bristol store (and I guess any other Apple store not in a shopping precinct). I headed down a little road to find somewhere for tea, and passed by the Liberty store. It seemed odd that there was a building that looked so much like the buildings in Chester in the middle of London!
I went over the road to Le Pain Quotidien for a pot of tea (of course) before I caught my train home.
It was lovely to meet other bloggers, and to spend time in London, but I realised (again) that I am not really a city girl – I know Bristol is a major city, but it just doesn’t feel so much like a city!

It was really lovely to meet you all, a vintage shopping meetup will definitely have to be organised!
