I thought I’d share with you what I’ve been listening to lately. I have a pretty odd taste, so there might be something you’ll like in here. I’ve linked to the Amazon MP3 pages for the songs, as its usually cheaper per album than iTunes.
I always love a bit of Richard Cheese, and have been listening to his new albums lots, but I still love the older ones.
I think that from the older albums, my favourite three songs are:
Enter Sandman (this link is for the rude version, because I have a hatred for any sort of censored version where they just blank the rude bit out. I like to add the rude bits back in.) from Aperitif For Destruction [Explicit]
Bust A Move from The Sunny Side Of The Moon: The Best Of Richard Cheese (if you’ve never heard of Richard Cheese, this might be the best album to start with)
Chop Suey from Tuxicity (this might be my favourite album at the moment)
Stone Cold Sober and New York (Radio Edit)by Paloma Faith on Do You Want The Truth Or Something Beautiful? have been on my current playlist since reading an article with her in The Chap.
I can’t believe I’m admiting this one, but
Pack Up by Eliza Doolittle on her self titled album is FAR too catchy not to listen to a lot. Its the chorus I think.
The Fame Monster by Lady Gaga is still one of my favourite albums, with Bad Romance, Speechless and Just Dance appearing on my most played lists.
The Family Jewels by Marina and the Diamonds is a lovely album, and I especially love I Am Not a Robot at the moment
What list of songs I love would be complete without a mention of the wonder that is Bonnie Tyler? I chose the album From The Heart: Greatest Hits purely for the cover, and you already know this, but my favourite song off that album is Total Eclipse Of The Heart. Turn around bright eyes.
What are you listening to at the moment?
* all Amazon links in this entry are affiliate links, meaning if you click it and buy the item, I get a little percentage. Which would be nice.

You should be listening to Die Antwoord; I am CONVINCED they will be the next sensation.
