We’ve had a bit of a re-arrange in the house (the boy did this while I went home, but I’ve only just finished sorting out everything in all rooms except his office. Its too scary.) and its meant that I looked in my crafting drawers for the first time in a long time
One thing that struck me – I have a lot of buttons and I need to find something to do with them.
This is my main button stash – I have those wooden Fira drawers (Not sure on the name, but so annoyed Ikea have stopped selling them – they’re brilliant and I quite like putting them together.) and this takes up a whole drawer.
I’ve also got these plastic buttons that are all different shapes, like stars, bows, hats, etc.
I’ve not been very crafty at all lately, but with so much free time, I think I should try and use up some of my stash! Any ideas?
Button jewellery? I’m hopeless at it myself, but there are tutorials online.
Customising plain tote bags?

Oooh so many buttons! I remember when buttons were popular in Accessorize and I decided to deck out one of my bags in buttons! Painful sewing them all on but it was worth it…and a lot cheaper too!
Jazz up all your cardigans, or funk up some boring dresses? BUTTONS.
