Bonjour! So things have been a little quiet around here – it was my <whispers>28th</whispers> birthday on Monday, and I was feeling a bit blah about lots of stuff. But my trip to London on Friday made me remember why I love blogging – I saw so many awesome people at Somerset House who I would never have met if it weren’t for this blog :)
I wore this pink circle dress* from Dorothy Perkins with my favourite boots from USC and a new belt from ASOS (which I ordered at the same time as ordering a pretty dress which I wanted to wear instead of this, but when it came, it smelled, it was creased, the belt was torn and the hook and eyes were bent out. Gross! Does ASOS not check returns?)
The charm bracelet was my mums – the charms were already on when she bought it so they don’t have any meaning, but I always used to love playing with it when she would be getting ready. My dad and stepmum bought me two new charms for it – a dragon and the Prince of Wales’ feathers because my Mum was Welsh. My favourite charm is the bee that you can see – its normally closed up into the hive.
This was the first time I’ve done outfit photos outside of my little office so I kept laughing – Carrie from WishWishWish very kindly took these after I had taken hers.

I love charm bracelets and I love the story behind that one, it’s very sweet. I have been eyeing this dress up for ages but the blue version, I want it SO much but I haven’t bought any clothes in ages and am still trying to be strong until November… hmmm. Hopefully it will still be in the shops then!
