So things have been a bit lax around here lately. You know how everything seems to happen all at once? It’s one of those times at the moment. The landlord has decided that all the work that has needed to be done for a few months can happen now, I finished my contract on the 8th, and Alex has just flown off to America for a few days because he just started a new job a few weeks ago. Oh,and I started a new job on Monday.
!!!
I moved to Bristol in May 2008, and naively thought that finding a new job would be easy peasy. Four years, three major contract roles, many minor temp jobs, and I have finally found someone willing to take me on permanently, in a role that is exactly what I want to do.
Those of you who follow me on Twitter will be pleased to know that my commute has reduced dramatically – from 90 mins to 25, on a direct route that means the bus stops at either end are just a few minutes walk. Less bus rage (hopefully)
I’m sitting in Queens Square – my most favourite place in Bristol, ever – writing this, and am still a little amazed to be honest!
Now, where’s good for lunch?

Congratulations, that’s fantastic news! In the relay race of Bristol bus rage, allow me to take the baton : )
