It’s Friday! Hooray! It’s nearly Easter as well, so double hooray for a long weekend of whatever! To celebrate the little things being awesome, Zalando kindly provided me with a little prize to give to one of you lovely lot. Well, little…will a £100 gift card make you smile?
While setting up this giveaway, I couldn’t resist a little window shopping of my own…I’m sure it’s not just me, but do you see things while shopping online that would be perfect for your favourite people?
Sarah Mia is always working away on her laptop, so I’d choose this yellow Mexx tote bag for her so she could get out of her home for a change of scenery. For Sarah, I’d pick this Orla Kiely dress – it just looks like a Sarah dress, you know? These Casadei high heels are pretty crazy looking, but I have this theory that Amy can basically wear ANYTHING and make it look good.
This Louche jumper with a cat wearing cat eye glasses on it? That’s totally one for the cat lady that is Bex. My best friend finally had her baby last week (squeeeeeeee! I can’t wait to meet the little man!) and I love this little Bonnie Baby jumper with a fox on it (I bet Fritha’s Wilf already has one similar!). I suspect Gina already has a pair of shoes similar to these Miss KG stilettos, but you can never have too many pairs, right? Finally, I think I need this tea set for myself – not that I need any more teapots and pretty cups!

The huge bunch of fake flowers sitting on my desk keep making me smile every time I look at them. I have all my bridesmaids coming round on sunday to make flower crowns for the wedding :)
Oh I love that blog idea! I use an app called Grid Diary to write down everything that I’ve done/ appreciate from the day. But today, it’s coming home from a morning meeting to work from home for the rest of the day. On the sofa. With really cosy clothes on.

This week: arranging a meet up with a friend to FINALLY meet her new baby, eating waffles for breakfast, being given a beautiful book as a surprise gift, my electric blanket, finishing a crossword ON MY OWN WITHOUT CHEATING and being *this* close to booking my first group holiday with friends :) Eee!

Things that have made me happy: when my fiancé comes home from work with two large bags of Mini Eggs for me. And then I eat them all myself in the space of two days. Yum. Also, buying dresses for my hen party / honeymoon!

This makes me sound like a terrible person but someone spilled a cup of tea on our coffee pod yesterday and it made me howl laughing. It may be one of those things where you had to be there but I swear it was funny and nobody got burned…

Puppies! Puppies are funny aren’t they? Last night Rosie was being a lunatic and I told her in my cross voice to SIT and she did, but did it so lopsided that she immediately fell over. What a fool.
Stories about dogs being foolish make me come across much better than stories where I laugh at people spilling hot water. Don’t tell anyone about that first one, okay?
PS CATS.
Things that have made me smile – a Lush bubble bath with Ferrero Rocher, Grazia a Yankee Vanilla Cupcake candle and Louis Armstrong and Ella Fitzgerald after a couple of hard days’ work last night, my husband’s hugs, my baby’s kicks and my sister getting more cats!
Yesterday it was seeing a painting that I love and got so familiar with when doing my degree, in real life for this first time :D
It would have to be either my boyfriend doing his ‘Morrissey dancing’ to embarrass me in a bar, which made me howl with laughter, or the little dog at the market near my house who has a pink jumper on this week that barely stretches round his big fat pug head. Both totally perfect.
