Oof. It’s been a while. It’s been so long that while these photos were taken on the hottest day of the year, we’re now deep in the autumn cooling down and I’m happily back in jumpers and jeans. Thankfully, this summer was significantly cooler than past years and we only had a few days of really warm weather, which meant less wondering what the hell to wear.
On this sunny June (YES I AM EMBARRASSED BY HOW LONG IT TOOK ME TO POST THIS THANKS) afternoon, I headed up to Kirkland to get lunch with Megan and Jenn and we took a few photos. We popped to DERUmarket which served some delicious food and we shared the giant slice of cake in my pic. Even then, we couldn’t even manage even a quarter of that slice between us!
HELLO CAKE I LIKE YOU

I don’t even know why it took me so long to post this tbh. I am terrible for getting in my own head with things like blogging, what should I post about, does anyone even read this, what do people want to read, should I attempt to emulate other more successful bloggers in this area?, it’s been too long now so it’s going to be awkward
What would you like to see from me?

I read your posts! I love anything that shares your life in Seattle…so pretty much what you’re already writing about! And on a side note, how good is Target for clothing! I think (my) Alex dreads going into Target with me as I always spend ages mooching around the clothing department.
