The internet feels very odd at the moment, like if you don’t post to acknowledge what’s going on in the world, then you’re the worst person ever, but does anyone really want a feed just talking about the virus? Life still goes on, just quite differently.
.
I know my UK friends have been wondering what’s going on: the current situation in Washington is that all the schools are closed for 6 weeks, so most people are working from home and probably will for that amount of time. This week, I think I’ve been out once since that was announced, I popped to the supermarket yesterday to buy some more of Alex’s favourite drink (Bawls, it’s basically just sugar and caffeine) and it wasn’t too crazy there, I’ve definitely seen it worse! I am lucky enough that we are well stocked up here, and my only commitments outside the house are my PT sessions (with perfect timing, we had a Peloton bike delivered this week as our anniversary present to ourselves!) We’re just taking each day as it comes, since the recommendations change daily.
.
How are you doing? Do you think people should be talking more about the current situation, or is it better to carry on as (mostly) normal?
